Description
Sanhua XTF Series: Features and Details
1. Core Function and Construction
-
Function: A thermostatic valve that opens based on temperature rather than pressure.
-
Mechanism: The bulb (sensing element) is placed on the compressor discharge line. If the gas becomes too hot, the valve opens to inject a small amount of liquid refrigerant to cool the gas before it enters or cycles through the compressor.
-
Orifice Design: Features a fixed orifice design optimized for precise, small-volume injection.
-
Materials: * Stainless Steel Power Element: Laser-welded for high strength and longevity.
-
Brass Body: Provides high durability and standard soldering compatibility.
-
-
Internal Protection: Equipped with a built-in strainer at the inlet to prevent orifice clogging.
2. Technical Specifications
-
Refrigerant Compatibility: Optimized for common HFCs and HCFCs like R22, R134a, R404A, R507, R407C, and R410A.
-
Capillary Tube: Typically comes with a 1.5m (1500mm) capillary for flexible bulb mounting.
-
Connections: Available in Flare or Solder (ODF) connection types.
-
Temperature Setting: Usually available with different static superheat settings to trigger injection at specific temperature thresholds (e.g., cooling starts when discharge exceeds a set limit).
-
Max. Working Pressure: Rated for high-pressure systems, typically up to 4.5 MPa (45 bar).
