1. Core Function and Construction

Function: Acts as a reservoir to catch and store liquid refrigerant that hasn’t evaporated, ensuring that only vapor enters the compressor suction port.

U-Tube Design: Features an internal U-shaped tube.3 Refrigerant vapor is drawn through the top of the U-tube, while liquid drops to the bottom of the vessel.

Oil Return Hole: Includes a precision-calibrated small hole at the bottom of the U-tube. This allows lubricating oil (and a metered amount of liquid refrigerant) to be drawn back into the compressor safely.

Materials: High-strength steel body with a powder-coated surface that can withstand over 500 hours of salt spray testing (anti-corrosion).

Internal Filter: Equipped with a screen to prevent debris from entering the compressor.
