1. Core Function and Construction

• Function: Provides high-capacity removal of moisture, acid, and solid contaminants in both liquid lines and suction lines.

• Flexible Core Selection: The housing is designed to accept different types of 48-cubic-inch cores (e.g., SH48 series), allowing you to customize the filtration based on the system’s needs (e.g., standard drying vs. burnout cleanup).

• Ease of Maintenance: Features a bolted bottom cover for easy removal and replacement of cores from the bottom. The core holder is designed to require minimal clearance for swapping blocks.

• Corrosion Resistance: The steel shell is finished with a high-durability powder coating that survives 500 hours of salt spray testing.

• Refrigerant Compatibility: Applicable for all common HCFC, HFC, and HFO refrigerants (R22, R134a, R404A, R410A, R407C, R448A, R449A, R452A, etc.).

• Max. Operating Pressure (PS): Typically rated up to 4.5\text MPa (45 bar / 652 psig).

• Temperature Range (TS): -40C to +70C.

• Filtration Fineness: Capable of filtering particles down to 20m.

3. The Replaceable Cores (SH48 Series)

• SH48-A00: 100% Molecular Sieve (Max moisture absorption).

• SH48-A80: 80% Molecular Sieve + 20% Activated Alumina (Moisture + Acid removal).

• SH48-A30: 30% Molecular Sieve + 70% Activated Alumina (High acid removal—ideal for burnout clean-up).

• SH48-B00: Mechanical strainer for dirt particles (No desiccant).
