1. Optimized for Heat Pumps

• Advantage: Two-in-one functionality with integrated check valves.

• Benefit: Reduces the number of components needed in a heat pump circuit. Instead of installing two uni-directional driers and four check valves, a single STG drier does the job, saving space, labor, and reducing potential leak points.

2. Prevents Debris Re-injection

• Advantage: The unique internal flow control ensures that debris captured in “Cooling Mode” is not flushed back into the system when it switches to “Heating Mode.”

• Benefit: Provides continuous protection for the expansion valve and compressor. Without a bi-directional drier, reversing the flow would release trapped contaminants back into the sensitive components of the system.

3. High-Pressure “R32-Ready” Design

• Advantage: Rugged steel shell and high-strength robotic welding.

• Benefit: Specifically designed to handle the higher discharge temperatures and pressures associated with modern R32 and R410A heat pumps, ensuring the drier shell doesn’t fail under extreme stress.

4. Effective Acid Neutralization

• Advantage: Contains a significant amount of Activated Alumina.

• Benefit: Heat pumps often run at higher discharge temperatures than standard ACs, which can accelerate oil breakdown and acid formation. The STG neutralizes these acids on every cycle, preventing motor insulation failure.
