Description
Rexnord BCF Series: Features and Details
1. Aerodynamic Centrifugal Design
-
Backward Curved Blades: The blades are curved away from the direction of rotation. This geometry allows the fan to handle high static pressure without “stalling” or overloading the motor.
-
External Rotor Motor: The motor is built directly into the hub of the impeller. This saves space and ensures that the moving air naturally cools the motor.
-
Materials: Impellers are typically made of Glass-Reinforced Plastic (PA66) or Galvanized Steel/Aluminum for larger, high-heat versions.
2. Technical Specifications
-
Inlet Cone Compatibility: These fans are designed to be used with an Inlet Ring (sold separately or as a kit) to ensure smooth air entry and maximum pressure efficiency.
-
Speed Control: Most BCF models are compatible with Voltage Regulators or VFDs, allowing for precise airflow adjustment based on temperature.
-
Bearing System: Equipped with Double-Shielded Ball Bearings as standard to handle the high rotational speeds and radial loads of the centrifugal design.
-
Voltage: Available in 115V, 230V AC, and various DC Brushless configurations.
