Description
Sanhua YCV Series: Features and Details
1. Core Function and Construction
-
Function: A unidirectional valve that uses a floating internal element (often cone-shaped) to prevent backflow.
-
Mechanism: It operates without any internal spring or magnetic force.
-
Opening: Forward refrigerant pressure pushes the floating cone up to allow flow.
-
Closing: Gravity and reverse pressure drop the cone back into the seat to seal the valve.
-
-
Materials:
-
Valve Body/Connections: High-quality Copper.
-
Internal Core: Engineered plastic (highly durable and lightweight).
-
-
Application: Specifically used in Air Conditioning (Split Systems) in shunt with capillary tubes to prevent “back-condensation” from warm to cold evaporators.
2. Technical Specifications
-
Refrigerant Compatibility: Applicable for all common HCFC and HFC refrigerants (e.g., R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A).
-
Max. Operating Pressure (PS): Typically rated up to 4.2 MPa (42bar).
-
Medium Temperature (TS): Ranges from -30C to +120C.
-
Mounting: For optimal sealing, it is strongly suggested to be installed vertically (flow from bottom to top), as gravity helps the floating element seat properly.
-
Sizes: Available in small nominal sizes (e.g., YCV3, YCV5, YCV8, YCV11).
