1. Long-Distance Signal Reliability

• Advantage: Uses a current loop (4–20mA) instead of voltage (0–5V).

• Benefit: The signal does not “drop” or weaken over long cable runs. This makes it the perfect choice for supermarket racks and large industrial chillers where the controller may be located in a separate electrical room far from the actual compressors.

2. High Electromagnetic Immunity (EMC)

• Advantage: Current signals are naturally much more resistant to electrical noise and interference.

• Benefit: In equipment rooms full of variable frequency drives (VFDs) and large motors, the YCQC maintains a stable, jitter-free reading. This prevents the system controller from making erratic adjustments, ensuring smooth operation.

3. Simplified 2-Wire Wiring

• Advantage: Operates on a 2-wire loop (Power and Signal share the same wires).

• Benefit: Reduces the amount of cabling required and simplifies installation. It also makes troubleshooting easier for technicians, as there are fewer connections to check compared to a 3-wire voltage sensor.

4. Self-Diagnostic Safety

• Advantage: The 4\mA floor signal allows the controller to distinguish between “Zero Pressure” (4\mA) and a “Broken Wire” (0 mA).

• Benefit: If a wire is cut or the sensor fails, the controller immediately knows there is a fault (0 mA reading). This allows the system to enter a fail-safe mode, preventing compressor damage that might occur with a voltage sensor that simply reads 0V during a failure.
