1. Core Function and Construction

• Valve Type: Piston Solenoid Valve. This design allows it to handle higher flow rates and withstand greater pressure differences compared to diaphragm or direct-acting valves.

• Function: Electrically controlled ON/OFF valve to regulate refrigerant flow.

• Normal Position: Typically available as Normally Closed (NC) (closed when de-energized).
