Description
Sanhua KDF Series: Features and Details
1. Core Function and Construction
-
Valve Type: Piston Solenoid Valve. This design allows it to handle higher flow rates and withstand greater pressure differences compared to diaphragm or direct-acting valves.
-
Function: Electrically controlled ON/OFF valve to regulate refrigerant flow.
-
Normal Position: Typically available as Normally Closed (NC) (closed when de-energized).
-
Primary Application: Refrigerant control in various devices like refrigerating/freezing systems, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
-
Unique Application: Can be installed in the compressor exhaust pipe (discharge line).
-
Benefit: Its piston design and high-temperature rating make it suitable for handling the high-temperature refrigerant gas exiting the compressor.
-
-
Design:
-
Compact Design to save installation space.
-
Detachable Design for easy maintenance.
-
Suitable for a variety of coils (interchangeability).
-
2. Technical Specifications
-
Refrigerant Compatibility: Applicable for all common HFC, HFO refrigerants (e.g., R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R448A, R449A, R452A, R513A).
-
Note: As with other modern Sanhua lines, compatibility with specific A2L/A3 refrigerants (R32, R290) is typically available in specific model variations.
-
-
Max. Refrigerant Temperature: High rating, typically up to +140C.
-
Benefit: Critical for use on the compressor discharge line where gas temperatures are highest.
-
-
Maximum Operating Pressure (PS): Generally rated high, consistent with other large Sanhua solenoid valves (up to 4.5 MPa 45 bar).
-
MOPD (Max. Operating Pressure Difference): Engineered for high MOPD to ensure reliable operation under high-differential conditions.
-
Installation: Recommended flow direction corresponds to the arrow; typically installed with the coil upwards.
