Key Features of Sanhua RFGD Series TXVs

The RFGD is a high-performance mechanical valve built for reliable, consistent superheat control across a wide temperature spectrum.

• Balanced Port Design: This is a key distinguishing feature of the RFGD series. The balanced port design makes the valve performance less susceptible to system pressure changes (like fluctuating condenser pressure or pressure drop across a distributor). This ensures stable superheat control even under challenging or reversible operating conditions.

• Bi-Directional Capability: Due to the balanced port, the valve is suitable for use in reversible cycle systems (heat pumps), though a second check valve/TXV might still be used for optimal performance.

• Integrated/Built-in Orifice: The valve comes with a fixed, internal orifice (up to 9 different sizes/capacities) that simplifies selection and installation, ensuring the correct capacity for the evaporator.

• Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) Option: MOP functionality is available. This limits the maximum evaporating pressure, effectively protecting the compressor from excessive torque or overheating during high load or rapid startup conditions.

• Cross-Charge Technology: The thermal bulb uses cross-charge technology to deliver a consistent superheat degree across the entire specified evaporating temperature range.
