BITZER CO₂ compressors have been proving their worth in subcritical CO₂ applications since 1998. The OCTAGON SL series is a closely stepped range of models with a cooling capacity ranging between 2.7 and 80 kW (–35° C/–5° C) for subcritical CO₂ applications. Alongside its well-known attributes, this SL compressor series also offers improved energy efficiency. In addition, the application limits were pushed to a higher condensing temperature, whilst the admissible pressure load was expanded on the high and low pressure side (53/30 bar).
